Literally, this is the best condiment in the world, IMO. Adds a zesty complexity to grilled beef , chicken, pork, or seafood. If you don’t like cilantro, you can substitute with flat-leaf parsley.
Chimichurri SaucePrint Recipe
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 jalapeno (seeded + diced)
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1 tsp capers
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Place all ingredients in blender and pulse until well combined.
Add additional salt to taste (if necessary).
Serve immediately or keep in fridge for up to 3 days.
